Audio

I currently work as a freelance audio editor.

I also record, edit and co-produce a podcast about the Leeds music scene, called the Basement Leeds podcast, with my friend Becca, who hosts the show and interviews the guests.

Amongst other projects, I've edited episodes 26 to 41 of Poptique on Soho Radio, and I produced/edited and occasionally presented a run of shows for the Union Music Library on Leeds Student Radio whilst I was still a student in 2020.

I also worked at Oxford Voice's recording studio in 2019, where I recorded voice actors for bus tours, elevators and video games: clients included Dream League Soccer and Big Bus Tours. I learnt how to operate a modern recording studio on my own, became comfortable working one-on-one with voice talent, and over the months became much quicker at editing down whole recording sessions into sets of good takes. I also learnt to create sound effects by compiling stock library sounds and making field recordings.

I'm hoping to release a couple of self-produced radio specials later this year: one on the creative applications of artificial intelligence, and another called 'David Beckham: The Man Who Scores Nils' about people's feelings towards the former footballer.
